I have a large visual timer (the one that shows the color on the clock), this one is good for shorter count-downs, and it turns red once it gets to 59 seconds, which is a great visual that time is almost up. It’s holding up to abuse from 500+ students between 6-10 years old, and the battery being rechargeable is a bonus! It stinks having to find batteries last second. It works as intended and on the highest brightness is very visible from across a room.

Customer Review: Impressed on this little timer. It is so easy to use. Self explanatory on the timer itself. It has big and bold numbers and loud enough to be heard in another room. I have the magnet on my refrigerator that comes attached on it and it hasn’t budged. Timer also has a cord that you can just hang it from somewhere. There is also a metal piece you can pull out ( tucked neatly in a hollowed out spot for it) if you just want to sit it on the counter and have it tilted. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m also impressed on the instructions manual. I normally don’t really even read them often but this one caught my attention. It started off with someone introducing themself by name and it ended with his entire name in a signature form. Kinda impressive in my book. Some of the functions are a bit clunky, though—for example, you can’t add five minutes to a timer that’s already running. You have to stop it, reset the time, and start again. The first time I grabbed the dial, I expected it to adjust the timer up or down on the fly, but it’s locked out while running. Minor complaint.I’ve got mine stuck to the range hood—the magnets are strong—and it sits right at eye level. The large numbers are easy to read from across the room. And yes, they’re loud. You can hear them clearly over everything going on in a busy kitchen, easily cutting through the noise of fans, running water, and clanging pans.

Customer Review: When set to the highest alarm loudness (90 dba at the back of the timer, 88 dba at 12” in), it is loud enough to be heard two rooms away even with a TV on).This is a very nice triple timer design with ½” high digits on an LCD display and uses a 1″ diameter ceramic disk resonator that is driven at 2 KHz which puts it right in the middle of the human audio spectrum where it is easily detected. The resonator is driven with two AAA batteries which are required to deliver the 90 dba output level at the back of the case (88 dba at 12” omnidirectionally) making it very effective even in a noisy kitchen and sufficient to get your attention 30 ft and three rooms away through a couple of doors and with the TV on. So it gets high marks on effectiveness.When a timer reaches zero and the audio alarm sounds, a red LED flashes illuminating the timer select button for the Alarm that is beeping. While I didn’t initially think I would use this feature, it quickly became apparent that when I have two (or more) of the same timers in the kitchen and one of them goes off, it is not immediately clear which Timer is sounding (since they are all loud). You can tell whether it is Alarm 1, 2, or 3, by the unique beep sequence (two beebs for Alarm 1, three for Alarm 2 and four for Alarm 3) but not which Timer is making the noise. The flashing red LED allows you to see from 20 ft away which one it is.The ability to store a preferred time for each alarm while still setting the timer for arbitrary times, recalling the preferred setting when you want it, is a highly useful feature. Not a big deal, but a clever and useful design detail.I was looking for a timer to replace two 40 yr old West Bend Model 53095 triple timers which have finally been dropped enough times that they are no longer reliable.I first tried the new West Bend model that is labeled as 50053 and discovered that it beeps at 4KHz which is outside what is considered the normal human speech spectrum, is powered by a single AAA battery, which makes it too quiet to be heard more than a few feet away (60 dba @ 3”).[note that the difference between 60 dba and 90 dba is a factor of 1000 in acoustic power which is a BIG DEAL in terms of how far away you can hear it]I then tried an OXO Good Grips Triple Kitchen Timer and found it to be unusable as the display is off except for one minute after you set it and then again when the timer goes off and the design results in very short battery life and thus excessively high operating cost.So I am happy to find an excellent and affordable replacement for a 40 year old triple timer with equal acoustic performance and a couple of additional useful features (the Memory capability, and the flashing red LED showing which Timer and which Alarm is going off). I highly recommend this one and will probably buy one more for high usage and as a spare for the time in the far distant future when there is a hard failure.Potential improvements: This timer does not provide any user feedback when a key is pressed, not a key click nor a beep. While tolerable, it is an unnecessary annoyance that could be fixed with a few lines of software (call the beep function at the beginning of the key handler) which would be a significant improvement without impacting battery life to any noticeable extent.

Customer Review: One of the best purchases I have ever made. I struggled to find a timer that would satisfy all of my needs and this one does. It has so many functionality options that it’s difficult for it to not fit your needs. The price is very affordable. I love the look of it and the colors are very visible. The noise is very loud, but I often opt for the mute option as a student and it’s great for taking it with you to the library to study as another person mentioned here. I do not use the magnet but it is strong. Lastly, it was very simple and easy to use. The instructions are not complicated at all.

Customer Review: I got this set for my grandkids because they have a real problem with time management; especially when it comes to shower time at night, and it centers on my granddaughter. Lol. I saw these and knew they’d be a good audio reminder of, “Let’s hurry it up.” The kids find them easy to use and they like that they each have their own with one pink and one blue which are bright colors, which my grandson really appreciates. Some other products had bad reviews about the quality, the magnetic stick on the back and confusing scrolling to set the time. I just wanted something that worked. I read this one and saw consistent positive/solid reviews. I decided to buy it and have been happy so far!The scrolling mechanism is indeed intuitive and easy to use. If you move it quickly it’ll adjust minutes instead of seconds. Once the timer counts down, it reset to the last time you set-it, which is really convenient if you are doing pomodoro’s or anything where you’re using the same time for each countdown like a work out. Basically if you set it to 25 minutes, it’ll reset back to 25 minutes once it counts down and you reset the timer. The screen dims a bit when you set it in eco power mode, but you can set it to be brighter with a switch on the back. The sound is nice and clear once it finishes counting down. There is a subtle click so you can get a tactile feel when adjusting the time.The dual magnets on the back are indeed nice and strong if you want to stick it on anything. I really like the rubber feet because that means it doesn’t slide around and stays in place when I want to adjust the time.Also, it looks great on my desk!! The white ring looks sleek. I also like how it doesn’t have a logo unlike some of the other options out there!I also considered getting one of the more expensive timers that cost $40 where you can flip it start the time.
